elWoo Studio is committed to handling users’ personal information, voice data, and service-related data responsibly and securely while providing the elWoo Wave service. This Privacy Policy explains what information elWoo Wave may collect or process, how such information is used, how third-party service providers may be involved, and how users may request deletion of their accounts and associated data.

1. Information We Collect or Process

elWoo Wave may collect or process the following information as necessary to provide and operate the service:

Account Information: Email address, display name, user account identifier, and information required for account authentication
App Usage Information: Callsign, language settings, service plan status, remaining usage time or credits, rewarded-ad usage, blocking or reporting information, and other operational information
Voice and Caption Information: Voice data transmitted while using Push-to-Talk (PTT), speech recognition results, translation results, captions, and moderation or safety-processing results
Device and Technical Information: App version, device-related information, operating system information, connection status, diagnostic information, and error or service logs
Advertising Information: Advertising identifiers, device information, and information related to ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and reward processing
Payment and Subscription Information: Product or subscription information, purchase tokens or transaction identifiers, entitlement status, and information necessary to verify or manage purchases

elWoo Wave does not intentionally collect personal information that is unnecessary for providing the service.

2. How We Use Information

The information collected or processed may be used for the following purposes:

Creating, authenticating, managing, and deleting user accounts
Issuing and managing callsigns
Preventing duplicate or unauthorized use of callsigns
Providing Push-to-Talk voice communication
Delivering voice communications to users connected to the same public frequency
Providing speech recognition, translation, captions, and related text processing
Detecting or filtering inappropriate or abusive content
Managing free usage limits, usage credits, rewarded advertisements, subscriptions, and paid features
Verifying purchases and subscription status
Processing blocking, reporting, abuse prevention, and moderation functions
Maintaining service stability and diagnosing technical problems
Preventing fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and abuse
Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and platform requirements

3. Public Voice Communication

elWoo Wave is a public frequency-based Push-to-Talk communication service.

When a user transmits voice through PTT, the voice may be delivered to other users connected to the same public frequency.

Users should understand that communications made through PTT are not private communications and may be heard or received by other users on the same frequency.

Users should not transmit confidential, sensitive, financial, medical, or personally identifying information through public PTT communications.

4. Voice Data Processing

Voice data may be processed while a user is speaking in order to provide service functions such as voice transmission, speech recognition, translation, caption generation, text correction, moderation, and safety filtering.

Depending on the user’s device, selected mode, language, network conditions, and feature being used, processing may occur on the user’s device or through remote third-party service providers.

Voice data is used only as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant communication, translation, accessibility, moderation, or safety function.

5. Speech Recognition, Translation, and AI Processing

elWoo Wave may use on-device technologies and remote third-party processing services to provide speech recognition, translation, moderation, correction, and related functions.

The specific technologies or service providers used may vary over time depending on technical availability, performance, language support, device capability, and service requirements.

6. Advertising

elWoo Wave may display advertisements through third-party advertising service providers.

Free users may see advertisements, including banner advertisements and rewarded advertisements. Users may receive additional service usage time or other in-app benefits by voluntarily viewing rewarded advertisements.

Advertising service providers may process advertising identifiers, device information, network-related information, app interaction information, advertising interaction information, and other information necessary for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

elWoo Wave may offer subscriptions, one-time purchases, or usage credits through third-party app store and payment-processing providers.

Payment transactions are handled by the applicable payment provider. elWoo Studio does not directly receive or store users’ full payment card information.

To verify purchases and manage entitlements, elWoo Wave may process product or subscription identifiers, purchase tokens or transaction identifiers, purchase status, subscription status, entitlement periods, and refund, cancellation, or voided-purchase information.

This information may be used to provide purchased services, prevent duplicate grants, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions or refunds.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

elWoo Wave may use third-party service providers for user authentication, account management, cloud infrastructure, database services, advertising, app store purchases, payment verification, speech recognition, translation, moderation, safety processing, technical monitoring, and service reliability.

Third-party providers may process information only as necessary to provide the relevant service and according to their applicable privacy policies and terms.

The specific providers used may change over time due to service availability, technical requirements, or operational needs.

9. Data Retention

User account information is generally retained while the user continues to use the service.

Certain operational information may be retained for a limited period as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, payment verification, subscription management, technical investigation, or legal obligations.

For free users, callsigns may be released and made available for reuse after 180 days of inactivity based on the user’s last login date.

Voice communication data and temporary speech-processing data are not intended to be permanently stored as ordinary user content.

Temporary voice, transcription, translation, moderation, or related processing data may be retained only for the period reasonably necessary to complete service processing, maintain service reliability, investigate abuse or technical issues, or comply with legal obligations.

When an account is deleted, account information and associated personal data will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is necessary for legal compliance, payment or refund records, fraud prevention, security, abuse investigation, or protection of users or elWoo Studio.

10. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

Users may delete their elWoo Wave account through the account deletion function available within the app.

Users who no longer have access to the app may request account deletion by contacting:

When submitting a deletion request by email, users should provide enough information for elWoo Studio to identify the relevant account.

When an account is deleted, information that may be deleted includes:

User account records
Callsign registration information
User settings
Blocking information
App usage information associated with the account
Other personal information associated with the account

Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, payment records, refund processing, fraud prevention, security, or abuse investigation.

Deleting an elWoo Wave account does not automatically delete an account held by an external sign-in or payment provider.

If the user has an active subscription, the user may also need to cancel the subscription through the applicable app store in order to prevent future charges.

11. Blocking, Reporting, and Moderation

elWoo Wave provides features that allow users to block or report other users.

Information related to reports may include reporter information, reported user information, callsigns, frequency or session information, report reasons, report descriptions, and moderation status.

Such information may be processed for user safety, enforcement of service rules, abuse prevention, investigation of inappropriate behavior, and service integrity.

12. Age Requirement

elWoo Wave is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

Users are required to confirm that they are at least 18 years old before creating an account where required by the service.

elWoo Wave is not intended for minors.

If elWoo Studio becomes aware that an ineligible minor has created an account or provided personal information through the service, appropriate steps may be taken to restrict access and delete the relevant information.

Parents or legal guardians may contact elwoo.support@gmail.com if they believe that a minor has created an account or provided personal information through elWoo Wave.

13. Data Security

elWoo Studio applies reasonable technical and administrative safeguards designed to protect users’ personal information and service-related data.

These measures may include secure network communication, authentication and authorization controls, restricted server access, minimization of unnecessary personal data, operational monitoring, purchase verification, and fraud-prevention controls.

However, no method of electronic transmission, network communication, or data storage can guarantee complete security.

14. International Data Processing

elWoo Wave is designed for users worldwide.

Users’ information may be processed, transferred, or stored outside their country of residence through third-party infrastructure, advertising, payment, speech-processing, translation, or related service providers.

Data protection laws may vary between countries. Where required, elWoo Studio will take reasonable measures to handle personal information in accordance with applicable laws and service-provider requirements.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to changes in the service, data-processing practices, third-party service providers, applicable laws or regulations, or platform requirements.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated when changes are made.

If material changes are made, users may be notified through the app or an associated webpage where appropriate.
