This page explains how users can request deletion of their elWoo Wave account and associated personal data.

1. Delete Your Account in the App

If you still have access to the elWoo Wave app, you can delete your account directly from within the app.

Open elWoo Wave, go to My Page, and use the account deletion option.

Deleting your account will permanently remove the elWoo Wave account and associated user data, except for information that may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or regulatory purposes.

2. Request Account Deletion Without the App

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion of your elWoo Wave account by email.

Send your request to:

elwoo.support@gmail.com

Please use a subject such as:

elWoo Wave Account Deletion Request

Please include enough information for us to identify the account, such as the email address used to sign in to elWoo Wave or your callsign.

For security, we may ask you to verify that you are the owner of the account before completing the deletion request.

3. Data That May Be Deleted

When an elWoo Wave account is deleted, data associated with the account may include:

User account records
Email address and account identifiers
Callsign registration information
Language and app settings
Blocking information
App usage information associated with the account
Report-related information where deletion is appropriate
Other personal information associated with the account

4. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary for:

Legal or regulatory obligations
Payment and refund records
Fraud prevention
Security
Abuse investigation
Protection of users or elWoo Studio

Any retained information will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Deleting your elWoo Wave account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed through an external app store.

If you have an active subscription, you may need to cancel it separately through the applicable app store in order to prevent future charges.

Deleting an elWoo Wave account also does not delete your Google account or any other external account used to sign in or make payments.

6. Free User Callsigns

For free users, callsigns may be released and made available for reuse after 180 days of inactivity based on the user’s last login date.

Deleting an account may also result in release of the associated callsign.
